The Global Beauty & Wellness Awards announces
Best cosmetics, wellness hotels and food supplements in the World 2023
This year, the jury of The Global Beauty & Wellness Awards has honoured 27 Winners and 45 Finalists from across the beauty and wellness industries. The worldâs premier independent beauty and wellness awards selected its finalists from over 500 shortlisted nominations coming from five continents, reflecting the excellence and innovation of the beauty and wellness industries.
Like every year, nominees in over 100 cosmetic product categories went through a meticulous ingredient and sustainability analysis. They were mainly judged on their effectiveness, innovation, sustainable packaging, and clean ingredients.
For this year’s GBWA edition, winners include major luxury brands such as Augustinus Bader, Westman Atelier and Mutha.
The most trophies, four were awarded to Dr Tonar, Algotherm and Ecowell. Sustainable brands like Dr. Hauschka was also among the finalists.
In the fastest growing category of food supplements, Cardiosmile, the worldâs first liquid supplement for cholesterol balance, Lyma, Nourishedâs Personalised 3D Printed vitamins and FertyBiotic are among the winners.
This year wellness hotels from all over the world participated in the competition. They were judged on their service offers, innovation, amenities, uniqueness, media, and visitors feedback.
The results: 7 Finalists and 1 Winner, including luxury resorts and spas from 4 continents. The Chedi Andermatt in Switzerland was the only Winner this year, closely followed by the Six Senses Vana in India and Banyan Tree AlUla from Saudi Arabia as this year’s top Finalists.
In the cosmetics industry Rejuvaus gained recognition from the jury members, receiving three awards in the Best Designed Packaging Product as a Special Award, Best Ingredient Hygiene Product and Best Ingredient Anti-Aging Product categories.
In addition, in the cosmetics industry, Nu Skin was the only company that, in addition to its cosmetic products, also made it to the Finalists with a beauty device.
Two products of the Algotherm brand also won the Best Emerging Cosmetic Product category and two other cosmetic products won the Finalist position in the same category.
This year, the Ecowell product line measured itself for the first time and won four awards. Two of its products won the Best Organic & Natural Suncare and Hygiene product awards, and its other products achieved Final results in the Best Organic & Natural Baby Skin Product and Best Organic & Natural Hair Product categories.
For the third year, German skincare brand Dr Tonar received multiple awards. This year it was awarded in the Best Ingredient Anti-Aging Product, Best Ingredient Facial Product and Best Ingredient Eye Product categories.
The Global Beauty and Wellness Awards (GBWA) is a fully independent organization that recognizes outstanding achievements in brand innovation and sustainability across the cosmetics, personal care, wellness, and hotel industries â sectors that offer a major contribution to global well-being.
