Wellness & Fitness Technologies

The Global Beauty & Wellness Awards Team is constantly searching for innovations and industry best practices to inspire like-minded professionals and curious consumers. Now, we have compiled 2 innovative wellness and fitness technologies for you!

1.Curve

The Curve is a new wellness program designed specially for women around their menstrual cycle. It offers a high number of programs to meet the needs of every consumer, like fat loss or training and nutrition.

This is the first program of its kind available online, and lasts around eight weeks, although it can be fully personalized to be longer or shorter, depending on every woman’s natural cycle.

Aside, the nutritional feature of the Curve is designed to go according to the selected training and the body conditions during that time of the month, providing a better support recovery and reducing bad symptoms.

One of the Curve’s main goals is to establish a perfect balance for sustainable weight loss and strength gain.

  1. Comvita Wellness Lab

Comvita, the global market leader in Mānuka honey has created the Wellness Lab, a new experiential space in the Viaduct, Auckland that allows visitors to explore their honey using all senses. The multi-sensory journey is designed to take their guests on a tasting tour to celebrate the unique and complex flavour of each Comvita mono-floral honey.

The bookable, 45-minute sessions occur inside the Wellness Lab’s boutique, a 180-degree theatre where custom-designed audio-visual elements are displayed. The experience is hosted by beekeeper and bee-breeder, Noelani Waters.

Every element that consumers interact with as part of the experience, was carefully designed and sourced to provide a world-class space where visitors can connect with Comvita’s scientific expertise and appreciate New Zealand honey.
