Global Beauty & Wellness Awards announces:
Best Cosmetics and Hotels in the World 2020
The Jury of The Global Beauty & Wellness Awards, headed by Nadja Swarovski, has this year honored 39 winners and 89 finalists from 325 global entries from across the beauty, organic food and hotel industries reflecting the evolution and innovation of the beauty and wellness industry. The GBWA allows beauty, wellness, fitness, organic food and food supplement producer companies from all over the world to nominate their products in over 100 categories. Applicants compete only in their specific segment, either luxury, premium, or popular, and they can select among male, female, or unisex categories for each nominated product.
This year’s nominees in the cosmetic products categories underwent thorough scientific and professional analysis and were judged on ingredients, sustainability, usability, innovation and packaging.
Nadja Swarovski, commented: “It was a pleasure and a great insight to judge the GBWA 2020, and to witness the continuous innovation of beauty brands embracing sustainability in their use of organic and toxin free ingredients and recyclable packaging, while celebrating creativity and addressing customer needs. This year’s winners will be an inspiration to the wider beauty and wellness industry.”
Nominees in the Hotels category were judged on their differentiation, unique wellness and general service offers, ambiance, and media and visitor feedback. This year’s winners ranged from luxury resorts to affordable lodgings.
The GBWA’s independent jury, headed by Nadja Swarovski, Board Member of Swarovski, includes Aseem Puri, International CMO at Unilever; Henrik Mansson, Board Member of Icehotel; Anne Dimon, President and CEO of the Wellness Tourism Association; Marco Monfils, former VP Marketing Household, Reckitt Benckiser North America; Ivana Pur, former R & D Manager of L’Oréal, Founder of Living Pur; businessman and property investor Arie Yom-Tov; and social media influencer, photographer, designer Ana Linares.
Nominations this year started in early August. There were 3,000 brands, products, hotels and organic food products investigated and 325 nominated, but only 89 of them made it until the end. Please, check our blog post about the 2020 winners.
Next year’s nominations are expected to happen by late Spring in 2021.
